With times being so uncertain and the normal life feeling chaotic, it bring peace and joy to my heart to have the church full of laughing children. First night of Bible Buddies was in full swing and went great. Praise the Lord!
The uncertainty of the future has weighed heavy on my heart and while asking God to help me make the right choices and trust the plan he has, I also have been asking God to Grow Hillside. To let it’s classrooms be full and it’s sanctuary loud. To bring the children in like a plague in Egypt. Tonight I saw God Deliver! Not only were there new families but also new helpers and even new members in adult bible study. This past few months my family has learned how important it is not only going to prayer for your needs but lifting up your praise to. Tonight we Praise God for all he has done and look forward to a year of watching His will be done! What a great God we serve that he takes care of our needs and provides us with not just the children to lead but the leaders to do it!!
Thank you to everyone who has stepped in and helped us! Justin for taking the job of fearless leader!! Chris for the music and for getting the youth up there serving! Thank you to the Youth group girls for helping lead worship. Thank you Evan for stepping in to lead game time and Chuck, Michelle and Melissa for teaching the classes! Renee, who ran the check in table. Terri for cuddling the babies and toddlers in the nursery. Thank you Pastor Dave for leading a Adult Bible Study were we can feed the hearts of adults too. Thank you also to James, Travis and Nate for staying later to feed and lead out Burning Hearts Youth Ministry which I am Excited to say it wasn’t Caden and the Girls tonight, they grew as well. Praise God!
