I have had a lot on my mind lately. I haven’t written anything in over a week. I have been throwing a pity party of sorts. When last I wrote and spoke, I talked about learning to walk in the Spirit. How we achieve that by metanoia. Metanoia is a Greek word, meta meaning above,Continue reading “Yoked, A Parable”
I don’t want to brag (ok maybe I do), I have a group of guys that meet at my house week after week. At our men’s small group, we encourage one another, strengthen one another, sharpen one another, and bear one another’s burdens. I love this group of guys. Andre and Nola Vink, along with their son Jarrvis, were baptized today. Praise the Lord. Their family is new to Hillside and we have so enjoyed them and their three boys. We look forward to worshiping and growing with them in Christ.
In Children’s Church today they used Shaving Cream to make some messy sheep.. Sometimes the Good Shepherd has some messy sheep, but he still loves and cares for us.
How many of us talk about our relationship with God at work? At home? Why are we so afraid to talk about God? If we truly love him and are grateful for the things he does for us, why are we not talking about this? If we know God and he knows us, if heContinue reading “It’s Time We Talked”
